Farewell Pope Francis - Welcome Pope Leo XIV
Pope Francis has left a lasting legacy for our world especially in regard to our care for the environment and our responsibility to care for the lonely and the outcast. We will miss his dedication and commitment to the faithful. Our new shepherd, Pope Leo XIV is focussed on the changing nature of work and the importance of social justice projects. His inspiration comes from both Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIII who was pope from 1878 - 1903. We look forward to the guidance of Pope Leo XIV and we acknowledge the work he has in front of him in this ever changing world.
SPX Soup Kitchen
Over the next two terms children in Year 5 will be hosting the SPX Soup Kitchen. Groups of children will donate vegetables ready to cook a range of soups this winter. Soup will then be delivered to the Adelaide Centre for the Homeless in Queen St, Adelaide. If anyone works in the city and can deliver the soup between 9:30am and 3pm please let me know ?

Marian Procession
The 76th annual Marian Procession in honour of St Mary, will be held on Sunday May 18th at 2pm leaving from Victoria Park and walking to Victoria Square.
This year the 2000 Catholics will be lead by SPX old scholar Javale Morato. Javale is recovering from a freak hammer throw accident in September last year. His recovery can only be described as miraculous. The fact that Javale no longer needs walking aids shows a commitment and determination for a healthy recovery. All welcome to join in the procession!
