Upcoming Environmental Sustainability and Wellbeing Day
As part of our ongoing commitment to care for creation, we are excited to announce Environmental Wellbeing Day in Week 8 – Friday, 12th September.
This day will focus on:
Appreciating and giving thanks for our planet and natural environment
Engaging with the outdoor environment
Making personal commitments to look after our planet
Connecting without the use of technology
Activities will include:
- Liturgy giving thanks for the Earth
- Loose parts, junk and mud play
- Tent City quiet play
- Indoor low- or no-tech hands-on experiences
Students are encouraged to wear old clothes, bring waterproof boots, and pack a change of clothes for the day.
Donations Welcome!
To support the activities, we are looking for donations of:
- Old sheets
- Rope
- Tarpaulins
- Wooden pallets
- Old crates
- Pots, pans, spatulas, and scoops
If you have any of these items to spare, please drop them off at Room 20.
