Last Thursday, we celebrated our Beginning of Year Mass with Fr Mathew. This is always a beautiful experience, and for many of our new Receptions, their first whole school liturgical celebration. As always, the singing was exceptional, and Mrs Jedrzejczak prepared the children impeccably. During the Mass, our staff were commissioned for the year of learning that 2020 will bring. Lent is just around the corner, and soon, your child will bring home a ‘Project Compassion’ box. Each week, there will be a story about a community who is assisted by our donations to Project Compassion and we will publish these in our school newsletters. These stories will also be discussed in class. I thank you in advance for your continued generosity.

Letters have been sent home to families of Year 3 children who are baptised Catholics, inviting them to enroll in the Sacrament Program. Thank you to those families who have returned the enrolment forms, Baptism Certificates and fee. Please be reminded that these are due back at school by Friday 21^st February.
