Fund-raising Goals

At a recent meeting the Committee discussed our fund-raising goals for the year. We would like to support the school in creating a shaded area in the yard. Designs and location for the shade structure are currently being considered by Mr Parker and the leadership team. All the amazing contributions from the St Pius X community towards our fund-raising events will go towards this initiative.

Recent events -

Mother’s Day Stall
The Mother’s Day Stall was a great success and it was fantastic to see the children carefully select something special for the amazing women in their lives.

A big thank you to the volunteers who helped with setting up, packing up and running the stall throughout the day! We can’t make these events run smoothly and successfully with out your help. It was also wonderful to get to meet parents who haven’t had the chance to see a Mother’s Day Stall in action before.

Mum’s Night Out

For the first time, we hosted a Mum’s Night Out at the Paradise Hotel on Friday May 21^st. The P&F Committee wanted to create an opportunity for mum’s to meet others in our community – given that COVID has limited our social interactions through the school over the last year.

We had a great night, with great food and service in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Congratulations to our raffle winners and thanks to everyone who bought tickets. We raised $150 through the raffle.

Upcoming events -

Quiz Night

We hope to see you at our “All at Sea” Quiz Night! Nev (from the canteen) and his crew from “Do You Quiz” do a fantastic job of hosting a fun night. This is one of our major fund-raising events for the year and it is also a great night out!

There will be great prizes for the winning tables, the best dressed and lots of prizes for the mini-games which are run between the quiz rounds. Tickets are $10 and are available on the Qkr! App.

P&F Meetings

The P&F Committee meet on the first Tuesday of each month (excluding school holidays). Everyone is welcome to come along to share their ideas and help us to contribute to the St Pius X community.
