What a wonderful term this has been! It has been a blessing to spend the term as part of the St Pius X Catholic School community. I was very worried that I would not get to know many children or families as the school is much larger than what I was used to, but fortunately this has not been the case. Spending time in the yard and regularly moving around the classrooms has meant that I have gotten to know many children and grown to appreciate them for the individuals that they are. I have enjoyed the opportunity to be part of the Parents & Friends Committee, and to join them on their Ladies Night Out! I have spoken to many parents as part of their child's learning, while visiting Little SPARX Playgroup, or welcoming them as their child transitions to school.

St Pius X School is a wonderful community and I look forward to being a part of it for the rest of the 2021 school year. I hope that you have a wonderful holiday, it looks like there will be plenty of time for us to all rest and have quiet time! Stay warm and dry.
