From Rosemarie Villano - SHIP Coordinator
Last Thursday listeners of Radio Italiana 531am had the pleasure of hearing Year 5 students Riley P, Ethan V, Akshath S and Lysander Z interviewing Mr Pryzibilla about his experiences with the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
“On Thursday 26th of August, some of the St Pius X School SHIP program children (Riley P, Lysander Z, Ethan V and Akshath S) had a chance to go on Radio Italiana. We interviewed Anthony Pryzibilla, the SA/NT R.F.D.S Operations Manager, about his job and what is involved in working at the R.F.D.S.'' Lysander Z
“It was very enjoyable speaking into the microphones at the studio, and it was really fun when we got to do a shoutout to all our friends, family, and teachers. It has inspired Akshath S, Ethan Z and myself to start our own morning radio show (talking about Minecraft) and afternoon show (Comedy Gold)” Riley P
Stay tuned this week on Radio Italiana 531 am from 6:00pm to 6:30pm where Year 4 students Charlotte T, Eva S and Aria F will interview Mr Parker. Tune into 531 am or download the app Radio Italiana 531 am to listen from your phone.
Reminder - Father's Day Stall - this Friday
The P&F Committee are holding the Father’s Day Stall this Friday, September 3rd.
Each class will be allocated a time for the children to choose and purchase something special for their Dad/Father figure.
Gifts will range from 50c to $10.
Each child is asked to bring a paper or plastic bag to keep their purchases safe. Please remember that, to ensure there are enough for all the children in the school, they will be limited in the purchases they may make.
Thank you from the P&F Committee.
