From the Deputy Principal - Des Henthorn
I hope you have been enjoying the glorious weather, and it looks at though we are going to have some beautiful days throughout the school holidays as well.
Last Friday we really enjoyed being at one with nature as we celebrated World Environment Day. A special thank you to Jane Buhagiar for her organisation of the event. James Lloyd led a Liturgy asking us to hear the call of creation which set the mood beautifully for the day.
Our student Eco Leaders supported many of our children with their activities which included cubby building, mud play, junk play, Sustainable Olympics and the Game of Life. Teachers provided themed activities within their classrooms and my personal favorite was the nature mandalas made by our Reception students.
