School Uniform Update
We have had a lot of inquiries regarding the new Winter Uniform. I have met with our supplier today and I can now share the following information -
The winter uniform will be available for purchase from the JS Sports Uniform Shop from Tuesday 14th of April (first week of the School Holidays).
The shop located at 10 Newton Road, Campbelltown and is open during the following hours -
Monday 8am - 12pm
Tuesday 8am - 12pm
Wednesday 1pm - 6pm
Thursday 1pm - 6pm
Friday - CLOSED
Saturday - 8am - 12pm
Sunday - CLOSED
As the existing rugby top complements the new uniform we have decided to continue with this item. There is also the choice of a boss top jumper and a soft shell jacket. Parents can make a choice as to which item they would like to purchase.
When JS Sports Uniform Shop create a link for orders to be placed online I will share this with the community. It is my understanding that uniforms that are ordered online will be delivered to the school once a week. We will distribute these orders via the office box to students.
If you are currently awaiting on items, we are expecting them to arrive in the week commencing the 24th February.
Next week, we begin the season of Lent with Ash Wednesday. Lent is a time when we prepare for the death and resurrection of Jesus. We are encouraged to do good deeds, make positive changes in our life, and draw closer to God and each other. There will be a Whole School Prayer Service with distribution of ashes, in the Hall next Wednesday commencing at 11:30am. All members of our community are invited to attend.
Later this week, you will receive a Project Compassion box for your family. Project Compassion is Caritas Australia's annual Lenten fundraising and awareness-raising appeal. Millions of Australians come together in solidarity with the world's poor to help end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity. This year’s Project Compassion theme is ‘Go Further Together’.
During Lent, we will hear stories of people from around the world who have been assisted by our donations through Project Compassion. We will publish these in our weekly newsletters and children will discuss the stories in class.
I encourage you to donate to Project Compassion throughout Lent and return your box to school before Easter.
If you would like more information about the work of Caritas and Project Compassion, please visit https://www.caritas.org.au and follow the hyperlink to ‘Project Compassion’.
Many thanks for your support

Traffic, Gates and Parking around the School
Please note that the gates into the kiss'n'drop area are locked until the Yard Duty Teacher arrives at 3:00pm.
A reminder to please check the parking signs around the school as there are regular inspections by the Port Adelaide Enfield Council who police these areas. They will issue fines if you are in breach of parking regulations.
